Early Lead For Waialae Seals Fate For Pearl City
Pearl City watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 13-2 loss to Waialae on Wednesday. Waialae scored on a single by Mark Okano, a single by Zach Folk, a single by Jordan Murai, a walk by Drayson Ito, and an error in the first inning.
The Pearl City struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Waialae, giving up 13 runs.
Waialae fired up the offense in the first inning. Okano singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.
