Roberts’s Walk-Off Picture Perfect Ending In Waialae’s Victory Over McCully

• A walk-off double propelled Waialae to a decisive, dramatic victory over McCully , 11-10. Waialae was down 10-9 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Brandon Roberts doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
• Despite falling down by five runs in the third inning, McCully tried to fight back.McCully put up nine runs in the failed comeback. Troy Kakugawa, Shane Sasaki,Mason Suga, Sasaki, Andy Uehara, and Sasaki picked up RBIs to lead the rally.
• Waialae took an early lead in the second inning when Jaryn Nakamoto grounded out, scoring one run.
• McCully scored four runs in the fourth inning. McCully batters contributing to the big inning included Kakugawa, Sasaki, and Suga, all driving in runs in the inning.
