Waialae Takes The Game Over McCully In A Blow-Out Victory, 11-1
Waialae won big over McCully 11-1 on Wednesday.
Waialae scored five runs in the fourth inning. The offensive firepower by Waialae was led by Gavin Okada, Jordan Murai, Mark Okano, and Davin Morita, who each had RBIs in the inning.
Jeremy Delacruz led the Waialae to victory on the hill. Delacruz allowed three hits and zero runs over five and a third innings, striking out 12. Josh Nakamura threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Matt Ho took the loss for McCully. The bulldog lasted four innings, allowing five hits and six runs while striking out three.
Waialae scattered 11 hits in the game. Okada and Tyler Nitahara each managed multiple hits for Waialae. Nitahara and Okada each collected two hits to lead Waialae.
Jacob Wong led McCully with three hits in three at bats.
