Two Sheridan Pitchers Combine In Shutout Victory Against McCully
Sheridan defeated McCully 7-0 on Sunday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Darren Lau induced a fly out from Scott Uehara to finish off the game.
Sheridan secured the victory thanks to four runs in the fifth inning. Sheridan put the pressure on, lead by singles by Rayner Yokoi and Noah Hata, an error on a ball put in play by Jacob Maekawa, and a double by Kreighton Tsuruda-Gaspar.

Sheridan tallied nine hits in the game. Maekawa and Hata each collected multiple hits for Sheridan. Hata and Maekawa all had two hits to lead Sheridan. Sheridan was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Tsuruda-Gaspar had the most chances in the field with ten.
Uyeda went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead McCully in hits.
