Despite Collecting Seven Hits, Ewa Falls To Sheridan

Ewa fell 11-1 to Sheridan on Sunday despite out-hitting them seven to four.

The Ewa struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Sheridan, giving up 11 runs.

Sheridan scored three runs in the eighth inning. Sheridan ‘s big inning was driven by walks by Ryne Yamashiro, Joey Maekawa, and Ryan Kono.

Eric Lum was credited with the victory for Sheridan. Lum allowed six hits and one run over six innings, striking out two. Kainoa Rallita, Maekawa, and Asher Ginoza all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.

Jarvis Nohara took the loss for Ewa. The pitcher allowed three hits and three runs over five innings, striking out four.

Reid Goto led Ewa with two hits in four at bats.
