Ewa Loses Lead Early In Defeat

• Ewa watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 12-8 loss to Pearl City on Wednesday. Pearl City scored on a single by Kip Masuda in the first inning, a walk by Colby Ching in the first inning, a walk by Easton Fujioka in the first inning, a single by Allen Komori in the first inning, a single by Masuda in the first inning, a single by Rorry Nakayama in the second inning, and a walk by Masuda in the second inning.
• Ryan Murakami drove in five runners in the loss. Murakami drove in runs on a triple in the third and a double in the fourth.
• Pearl City got on the board in the first inning when Masuda singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.
• Ewa put up four runs in the fourth inning. Murakami and Bryce Onaga all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
• Tyler Inouye led things off on the mound for Pearl City . He allowed eight hits and eight runs over four and a third innings, striking out one.
• Dane Kaneshiro was on the hill for Ewa . He went two-thirds of an inning, allowing nine runs on two hits and striking out two. Jarvis Nohara, Adam Inaba, Javin Nohara, and Khaden Victorino each entered the game as relief, throwing two and a third innings, two innings, one inning, and one inning respectively.
