Ewa AJA 2024-25’s effort to come back from down five runs in the first inning came up just short, as they fell 8-7 to Mililani AJA 2024-25 on Thursday at CORP 4. Ewa AJA 2024-25 closed the gap by scoring on a single, a single, a single, a single, a double play, a sacrifice fly, and a walk.

Mililani AJA 2024-25 got on the board in the top of the first inning after Matt Matsuda was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Brendan Uchima singled, scoring two runs, and Zach Gushiken singled, scoring two runs.

Ewa AJA 2024-25 scored five runs on four hits in the bottom of the first inning. Kagawa took the loss for Ewa AJA 2024-25. The reliever went one inning, giving up two runs on one hit, striking out none and walking three. Murakami started on the bump for Ewa AJA 2024-25. The hurler gave up four hits and five runs (four earned) over three innings, striking out none and walking four.

Cal Muramaru, Goto, Murakami, Miyashiro, Tsuruda, and Treyton Ikeda each drove in one run for Ewa AJA 2024-25. Murakami went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Ewa AJA 2024-25 in hits. Ewa AJA 2024-25 had a strong eye at the plate, amassing seven walks for the game. Miyashiro and Kyler Shojinaga led the team with two bases on balls each. Ewa AJA 2024-25 turned one double play in the game.
