Although tied with identical records of 7 wins, 6 losses & 1 tie, Mililani moves ahead of Waipahu due to the 2nd tiebreaker of Record against teams above you in the standings. Mililani was 2 Wins & 3 Losses against Waialae, Manoa & Sheridan. Waipahu was 1 Win & 4 Losses against Waialae, Manoa and Sheridan. For the 1st tiebreaker of Head to Head competition, Mililani and Waipahu each won one game against each other. Mililani & Waipahu’s final seeding into the Oahu AJA Baseball Championship Playoff will depend upon the regular season’s final game of Sheridan vs Kaneohe.
Waipahu AJA 2024-25 Fall To Mililani AJA 2024-25 Despite Strong Performance From Justice Yamashita

Justice Yamashita struck out 14 batters, but Waipahu AJA 2024-25 fell to Mililani AJA 2024-25 6-4 on Thursday. Yamashita surrendered four hits and three runs over seven innings while walking four.
Mililani AJA 2024-25 were the first to get on the board in the first when Zaine Gushiken singled, scoring one run.
Derek Costigan singled to right field, which helped Waipahu AJA 2024-25 tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.
In the bottom of the fourth, Waipahu AJA 2024-25 broke up the tie when an error scored two runs. Then a single by Moku Paiva followed to extend the lead to 4-1.
In the top of the eighth inning, Mililani AJA 2024-25 went back into the lead after Ryne Yamashiro walked, and CJ Ibara grounded out, each scoring one run.
Jaydon Arakawa earned the win for Mililani AJA 2024-25. The pitcher surrendered one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out five and walking two. David Torigoe took the loss for Waipahu AJA 2024-25. The pitcher went two innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on two hits, striking out two and walking four. Brennan Anzai led things off on the hill for Mililani AJA 2024-25. The pitcher gave up five hits and four runs (one earned) over four innings, striking out six and walking four.
Costigan and Paiva were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Waipahu AJA 2024-25. Justin Protacio led Waipahu AJA 2024-25 with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying six walks for the game.
Gushiken went 2-for-5 at the plate to lead Mililani AJA 2024-25 in hits. Zach Gushiken, Arakawa, Yamashiro, and Gushiken each drove in one run for Mililani AJA 2024-25. Mililani AJA 2024-25 had a strong eye at the plate, piling up eight walks for the game. Gushiken and Yamashiro led the team with two bases on balls each. Mililani AJA 2024-25 turned two double plays in the game.
