McCully Falls To Mililani After Ninth Inning Score
McCully lost the lead late in a 6-4 defeat to Mililani on Sunday. The game was tied at four with Mililani batting in the top of the ninth when Jensen Kim drew a walk, scoring one run.
McCully lost despite out-hitting Mililani 12 to six.
Mililani fired up the offense in the second inning. Mililani scored two runs when Jared Fujiwara singled.
McCully scored four runs in the fourth inning. The rally was led by singles by Jace Tsutomi and Ryllen Abeshima and a double by Kai Matsumoto.
Kyle Matsuoka earned the victory on the pitcher’s mound for Mililani. The bulldog lasted one inning, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out one and walking zero. Bronson Ichimura, Reece Matsukawa, and Brennan Anzai all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.
Devin Fujino took the loss for McCully. Fujino lasted two innings, allowing one hit and three runs while striking out two.

McCully saw the ball well today, racking up 12 hits in the game. Matsumoto, Tsutomi, Mason Suga, and Abeshima all had multiple hits for McCully. Matsumoto led McCully with three hits in four at bats.
