Pearl City AJA 2024-25 had trouble keeping up with McCully AJA 2024-25 in a 26-4 loss on Wednesday.
McCully AJA 2024-25 got on the board in the top of the first inning after Reece Kadota grounded out, Kai Matsumoto doubled to left field, Tanner Kagimoto singled to center field, and Ryllen Abeshima singled to center field, each scoring one run.
McCully AJA 2024-25 scored five runs on five hits in the top of the second inning. Kadota singled, scoring one run, Matsumoto singled, scoring one run, Kagimoto singled, scoring one run, Kaydenn Uyeda was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, and Kulia Neal induced Rylee Fukuki to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.
A double by Davis Sato, and a single by Uyeda helped McCully AJA 2024-25 extend their early lead in the third.

Rylan Li was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Reese Higuchi singled, scoring one run, Kadota drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Matsumoto singled, scoring one run, Kagimoto drew a walk, scoring one run, Jayson Abeshima singled, scoring one run, Orion Rompasky drew a walk, scoring one run, Kolson Tanaka induced Fukuki to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored, and Li doubled, scoring one run.
Sean Tanaka earned the win for McCully AJA 2024-25. The pitcher surrendered five hits and three runs (two earned) over six innings, striking out two and walking three. Tanaka pitched three innings in relief for Pearl City AJA 2024-25. The reliever surrendered four hits and four runs (three earned) while, striking out none and walking four. Ryne Miyamoto took the loss for Pearl City AJA 2024-25. The hurler went one inning, giving up seven runs on six hits, striking out none and walking three.
Reyn Ikenaga provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Pearl City AJA 2024-25 with two runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-3 on the day. Tanner Inouye went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Pearl City AJA 2024-25 in hits.
McCully AJA 2024-25 amassed 21 hits in the game. Matsumoto provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led McCully AJA 2024-25 with five runs batted in. Matsumoto went 5-for-5 on the day.
