Waialae crowned 2020 Oahu AJA Baseball League Champion

On March 17, 2020, the Oahu AJA Baseball League’s Executive Board made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of the 2019-20 Oahu AJA Baseball League Championship Tournament due to Governor Ige’s request to limit social gatherings to no more than 10 people and baseball fields at CORP and Hans L’Orange have been officially closed to the public.
Both Waialae and Waipahu were made aware this was a possibility and to treat Game 1 of the Championship Series as if it could be the Championship Game.  Waialae was victorious 6-4 over Waipahu and has thus been declared the League Champion for 2019-20.
This has been an extraordinary challenging season and the Executive Board extends its thanks and gratitude to our managers, coaches, players, umpires and field prep volunteers who made this season happen.
Be safe and healthy and look forward to next season.  Thanks.
