Waialae Claims Victory Over Manoa In Blow-Out Fashion, 11-1
- Waialae easily dispatched Manoa 11-1 on Wednesday, the 1st game of the Town Division’s Best of 3 Super Round. Waialae’s AD Mols closed the game with a walk off single in the bottom of the 7th inning, driving in Waialae’s 11th run to end the game due to the 10 run mercy rule.
- In the first inning, Waialae got their offense started when Mark Okano tripled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs.
- Waialae notched four runs in the sixth inning. AD Mols, Jordan Murai, and Brandon Roberts all drove in runs in the frame.
- Micah Nakasone took the win for Waialae . He lasted six innings, allowing four hits and one run while striking out four. Jeremy Delacruz threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
