Early Lead For Sheridan Seals Fate For Kaneohe

• Kaneohe watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 10-3 loss to Sheridan on Thursday. Sheridan scored on a single by Aron Okamoto, a single by Josh Inaba, and an error in the first inning.
• The Kaneohe struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Sheridan , giving up ten runs.
• Sheridan got things moving in the first inning, when Okamoto singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
• Sheridan scored four runs in the seventh inning. Sheridan offense in the inning was led by Charlie Abing, Okamoto, and Inaba, all knocking in runs in the inning.
• Carson Okada earned the win for Sheridan . He went three innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out two and walking one. Eric Lum and Joey Maekawa entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
• Jaydon Arakawa took the loss for Kaneohe . He lasted three innings, allowing two hits and three runs while striking out three.
• Matthew Hara started the game for Sheridan . He went two innings, allowing two runs on three hits, striking out one and walking one
• Aaron Kapeliela, Ryne Miyamoto, Justin Ibara, and Brent Vargas each collected one hit to lead Kaneohe .
• Sheridan racked up 12 hits. Inaba, Okamoto, and Blaine Hokama each managed multiple hits for Sheridan . Inaba led Sheridan with four hits in five at bats.
