Pearl City Grabs Lead In Seventh Inning For Victory Over Waipahu

• Pearl City snagged a late lead and defeated Waipahu 6-4 on Sunday. The game was tied at three with Pearl City batting in the bottom of the seventh when an error scored one run for Pearl City.
• Nolan Kometani led the Pearl City to victory on the hill. He lasted one inning, allowing one hit and two runs while striking out one and walking zero. Daven Hermosura threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Hermosura recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Pearl City.
• Jordan DePonte took the loss for Waipahu. He lasted one inning, allowing zero hits and four runs while striking out one.
• Allen Komori started the game for Pearl City. He lasted six innings, allowing six hits and one run while striking out three. David Torigoe started the game for Waipahu. He surrendered zero runs on three hits over five innings, striking out eight
• Rorry Nakayama went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Pearl City in hits.
